Mulching

Volcanic Red Lapillus is rapidly replacing pine bark in professional garden mulches.

Its granules, which become even more vivid red with rain and irrigation, ensure chemical-free weeding. Volcanic Red Lapillus can be evenly and easily spread and remains stable over time without deteriorating.

What is the mulching process?

Mulching is a frequently practised operation in gardening and agriculture which is carried out by covering the soil with a layer of material, in order to prevent the growth of weeds, protect the soil from erosion, maintain the humidity in the soil, prevent the action of atmospheric agents, avoid the formation of the so-called “surface crust”, reduce compaction, maintain the structure and mitigate the temperature of the soil.
